Let me take you on the journey of Emily and Daniel’s Edinburgh engagement photo shoot, it is such a wonderful story!

When Emily boarded the plane from New York to Edinburgh, she had no idea what Daniel had on his mind. All she knew was they were going back to the city where they met three years ago; while spending a semester abroad and bonding over homemade Lasagna. The best way to hide from the Edinburgh cold in winter!

If that wasn’t enough excitement already, Daniel had planned to propose to Emily on Salisbury Crags. Then I would join them for a walk around Edinburgh to take their engagement photos and capture their happiness. I was so delighted to be part of this and was full of anticipation all Saturday morning.

I met them on the Crags just after their proposal – Emily obviously said “yes” and OMG, her ring is so beautiful! We strolled around Holyrood Park while enjoying the sunshine and breathtaking views over Edinburgh.

Emily and Daniel are such a wonderful couple and time flew on our walk. We went up the Royal Mile, to the Meadows where they would go for winter strolls, down The Vennel to the Grassmarket and up Victoria Street, not to forget the little closes off the High Street. Edinburgh engagement photography in its full glory!

By the end of our session we had walked 20,000 steps, and Emily and Daniel had even run around Arthur’s Seat in the morning before their photo shoot. Impressive! We definitely deserved a cheeky pint and found it in Scotland’s smallest pub on the Grassmarket.

I’m so glad I met you, Emily and Daniel. I wish you all the best for your future together and hope you’re having a great celebration back home with some of Daniel’s home brew.
